[English: Shakespeare]: ‘Pericles Redux’, a “Reconstruction ” of Shakespeare’s Play, Plays L.A.

Not Man Apart Physical Theatre Ensemble’s Pericles Redux, inspired by the Shakespeare adventure and directed by John Farmanesh-Bocca, begins a nine-performance run at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Los Angeles July 17. It plays to July 25.

    Free Shakespeare on a West LA landmark was on the chopping block. The Veterans Center for the Performing Arts along with the United States Veterans’ Artist Alliance decided to go ahead anyway and thanks to a grant from the Dax Foundation this valuable program will continue.
